2019 Academic Administrator Workshop FINAL

2019 Academic Administrator Workshop Materials (June)

This year’s workshop will be framed around NMSU LEADS 2025. Our new vision is founded in the idea that student learning is enhanced through our land-grant mission of research, creative activity, Extension, and outreach. Enriching education with these elements promotes learning and degree completion, leading to improved social mobility for our diverse student population.

Department heads and other academic administrators play a pivotal role in achieving NMSU LEADS 2025, and two sessions will specifically focus on the new vision. Dr. Renay Scott will discuss what social mobility means at NMSU and the importance of improving outcomes for our students. Dr. Luis Cifuentes will discuss NMSU’s vision to advance research and creative activity. This workshop is mandatory for all academic administrators.
