Provost Howard delivered a presentation about statewide general education reform in an address to the Board of Regents on March 16th, 2016. The presentation includes information about NMSU and statewide efforts that are currently underway, including information about Meta-majors.
All members of the NMSU community are invited to attend an Open Forum on our institutional accreditation, featuring Linnea Stenson of the Higher Learning Commission (HLC). These events will be at 10:30 and 1:30 on Thursday, January 28 in Milton Hall, Room 50. Registration is not required. NMSU will seek re-affirmation of our accreditation in 2017-18….

Provost Howard delivered a presentation about statewide general education reform.
Provost Howard provided the Board of Regents with the Academic Affairs update. Included in the report is information about Proposition 21, allowing a minimum of 120 credits for a bachelor’s degree.
