Provost Council on African American Affairs
The Provost Council on African American Affairs (PCAA) was formed in 2019 to address the specific social and academic issues of Black students at New Mexico State University. Collectively, the mission of the group is to work and collaborate with NMSU administration, leadership, students, staff, and other constituents to respond to concerns and create a sense of belonging and impulsivity for Black students. The council reports directly to the Provost to ensure that awareness and solutions are constructed at the institutional level of the university to ensure system changes.
