The following communication was distributed to all NMSU faculty and staff on April 28, 2025 via email. 

The end of Fall and Spring semesters are always punctuated with celebrations and honor ceremonies culminating in Commencement Ceremonies. We get to celebrate our students and all their accomplishments during their time at NMSU. Many of our students have been influenced by faculty and staff throughout the completion of their degree or degrees. You could be a part of the celebration of your students’ journeys by supporting and celebrating our graduates during one or all the commencement ceremonies.

The Spring Commencement ceremonies are:

• Graduate Commencement Ceremony – Friday, May 9, 2025, at 6:00pm
  • Celebrating Doctoral, Specialists in Education, and Master Candidates
• Undergraduate Ceremonies – Saturday, May 10, 2025
  • 9:00 am – Celebrating College of Agricultural, Consumer & Environmental Sciences, College of Business, and College of Health, Education, and Social Transformation Bachelor Candidates for Degree
  • 2:00 pm – Celebrating College of Arts & Sciences and College of Engineering Bachelor Candidates for Degree

Please let our Commencement staff know you will be in attendance by completing this form.

The Provost Office has purchased 15 doctoral gowns of various sizes and tams for faculty to use on a first-come, first-serve basis. To reserve a gown for the Spring 2025 Commencement Ceremonies, please complete this form. An email will be provided with information on how to pick up your gown and when it needs to be returned by.
