We Are NMSU – May 8, 2025

Dear colleagues, 

This is a time of celebration as we head into the weekend of commencement ceremonies. Thank you to our dedicated faculty and staff for guiding our students to the successful completion of their programs. This semester, we are proud to graduate 2,002 students from our undergraduate and graduate programs, along with an additional 704 from the branch campuses – reflecting a system-wide increase of over 2% compared to Spring 2024.

The breakdown of our graduates by unit is as follows:

We continue to make significant progress in graduating students in high-demand workforce areas across New Mexico. Our top programs, based on the number of graduates, align closely with fields experiencing strong employment demand. NMSU remains a leading contributor to New Mexico's talent pipeline, producing a substantial share of graduates in several critical sectors.

Below are the latest figures highlighting the top five NMSU bachelor’s programs by number of degree applicants, along with job postings per graduate. The last column indicates NMSU’s share of statewide completions.
