We Are NMSU – December 11, 2025
Dear colleagues,
This weekend marks a special time of celebration for our entire university community as we prepare for our commencement ceremonies. This semester, we are proud to honor 1,256 graduates from our undergraduate and graduate programs, along with 422 graduates from our branch campuses.
The breakdown of our graduates by unit is as follows:
Each of these students has worked hard, overcome challenges, and reached a significant milestone in their lives. Heartfelt thanks to all of you, whose dedicated teaching, guidance, and unwavering support directly or indirectly made these achievements possible. Your collective impact shines across every program in our colleges of Agriculture, Consumer and Environmental Sciences; Arts and Sciences; Business; Engineering; and Health, Education, and Social Transformation.
We continue to make significant progress in graduating students in high-demand disciplines across New Mexico. NMSU is a leading contributor to the state’s talent pipeline, accounting for 27% of all university-level completions1 statewide and producing a substantial share of graduates in several critical sectors. Together, we are fostering not just degree recipients, but resilient leaders, owners, and community builders.
May the pride and joy we share this weekend carry us into the holiday season with a renewed sense of purpose, community, and confidence in all that our students can accomplish in the world. We are NMSU.
Sincerely,
Lakshmi N. Reddi
Interim Provost
New Mexico State University
