Data Tools for Department Heads Workshop

June 18, 2025, 8:15am - 3:00pm 

Join us for a hands-on workshop focused on enhancing student success through effective use of various data tools. This workshop will provide tools and strategies to support student recruitment, retention, and program alignment.

This hands-on workshop will provide an opportunity for department heads to:

  1. To streamline program requirements and ensure alignment with Financial Aid (CPOS) compliance.
  2. Explore how to create and publish interactive syllabi directly within Canvas.
  3. Using real-time dashboards to track your Apply–Admit–Enroll funnel and discover how to engage with prospective students.
  4. Do some practical exercises to identify and support at-risk students.
  5. Ask questions, share your future dashboard needs, and know more about NMSU Data tools.

All sessions will be held in Breland Hall, Room 175 (computer lab), with additional aspects held in Breland Hall, Room 179.
