The Provost’s Awards Committee sets criteria and selects winners for awards administered by the Office of the Provost. These awards include the Westhafer Award for both Teaching and Creative Research Activity, as well as the newly envisioned all-university and all-system Roush Awards. Two university-wide Roush awards are chosen from the seven winners in each college (two from A&S) on the Las Cruces campus. One system-wide award is chosen from among the four winners from each branch campus.
The Provost’s Awards committee may become responsible for other awards as the Provost expands and repositions awards to align with LEADS 2025.
