Dear Members of the New Mexico State University Community,
As we begin the roles of Interim President and Provost, we want to thank you fo the numerous messages of support you have sent us. We write to you today with a deep sense of commitment and dedication to the future of our institution. We are moved by the opportunity to serve alongside each of you in guiding New Mexico State University toward a future of continued growth and success.
We pledge to work together during this interim period and engage all constituencies of the NMSU System to build and strengthen relationships. We are committed to fostering stability, consistency, and transparency in everything we do. Your feedback is invaluable to us, and we invite it at every step of the way.
These are exciting times for NMSU. Our faculty and staff excel in supporting our land-grant mission and our work as a Hispanic-Serving Institution/Minority-Serving INstitution. We are grateful for the support from stakeholders, including the Santa Fe legislature, our industry and community partners, and our alumni and donors. Our Strategic Plan, LEADS 2025, enjoys consistent support, and we intend to work toward fulfilling the metrics outlined in the Plan.
By collaborating and inclusively working together, we can overcome any challenge and seize every opportunity that comes our way. Together, as an NMSU Community, we can build upon our legacy and shape a future that is brighter than ever before.
